Today each one of us had to create a poster that related to the word Saint, this is what I had done. 

Margaret Aylward (Group work)

Today our group have been reading about Margaret Aylward. Each of us was given one paragraph each to read  and we had to find the main ideas of the text.

(Patrick) Paragraph 1 Explanation:Margaret Louisa Aylward was born in Waterford on November 23rd, 1810. She was the fifth child of William Aylward and Ellen Murphy. Her father helped establish a group that helped unfortunate citizens.

(Faleaka) Paragraph 3 Explanation:  Thomas Meagher, father of Thomas Francis Meagher was one of the Margaret Aylward’s most prized person.   

(Lusia) Paragraph 4  Explanation: Margaret Louisa Aylward had a strong connection with Br Rice and the Christian brothers and have already noticed about their uncle's connection. Also, Margaret and the Christian brothers help the Irish children's needs by putting them in a school with a help called the presentation sisters.

(Peli) Paragraph 5 Explanation:

Margaret Aylward received her early education in a small Quaker school in Waterford. She stayed at home in Waterford for four years, teaching in the convent and working in a charity pawn shop. Margaret also joined in 1834 receiving the religious name Sr. Mary Alphonsus Ligouri.  

(Manu)Paragraph 7 Explanation: Margaret She was attempted to be a Charity and She was Explaining About Her Death and When She Died and It Was October (11) 1889 And The aged 79 Years old.

STATION - 5

Simon helps Jesus carry his cross

On a tiring day for me to carry the heavy cross up the hill. At was a hard  day for me to carry my  heavy cross  up the hill I was so tired of carrying the big heavy cross I fell to the  ground because the cross was so heavy.

After that  I  became very tired and weak and needed help to carry my  cross. The soldiers took a strong man from the crowd and made him help me The man's name was Simon. Simon was merely watching what was happening when he suddenly became part of all that was taking place. Simon did what was needed to do to help me, Jesus.

After that Simon came up  and help me carry my heavy cross up the hill. He try to get me up, but it was so hard for me to get up because my shoulder was sore and my hands, I try real hard to get up and carry my cross with Simon. Simon was sad to come and helps me carry my cross.

The people were looking at him and following him up to the hill and they all rush up the hill and followed Jesus .

My soul friends are Rachel and Katelyn

Katelyn is 7 years old and Rachel is 10 years old.

Katelyn’s favourite thing to do outside of school is to play with her friends because they are special to her. Rachel’s favourite thing outside of school is going to the pools because that is her favourite sport.

Katelyn’s colour is Purple because her mum likes that colour too. Rachel’s favourite colour is Blue because she loves looking at the sky.

A Soul Friend is people who support each other, help each other and guide each other. They listen to each other and encourage each other.

Mary and Joseph's Journey.

Mary and Joseph walked a very long way from Jerusalem to before Jesus was born. It took 150 km and 32 hours equal day and a extra 8 hours which is a very long walk.
